Your Presence Needed at City Hall
SF Board of Supervisors Public Meeting
Monday, February 2
1:30 PM
📍 City Hall, Room 250
Dear valued CARE neighbors,
We're at a critical moment in our 6 year campaign to protect Edgehill from dangerous and unsightly development.
The good news: On October 9, Supervisor Myrna Melgar presented legislation to convert the five Kensington Way lots to open space, and the Planning Commission unanimously approved!
What we need now: Our community must show up in force on February 2 when Supervisor Melgar presents the plan to the Board of Supervisors Land Use and Transportation Committee. Your presence is essential to demonstrate community support for protecting our fragile and beautiful hillside.
We've come so far since that first Planning Department meeting in September 2019 and the petition that brought our community together. The momentum we created with those full meetings at SF Planning and the Church on Knockash is what brought us to this pivotal moment.
We're getting close—but we need you there to get this across the finish line.
With gratitude,
Elizabeth A. Mayer, MD
